Former Barcelona captain Carles Puyol was behind his desk yesterday for the first day of his new job.
The new assistant director of sport arrived at the offices for a meeting with the man he'll be working most closely with, Andoni Zubizarreta.
After being shown around the offices and introduced to the other members of the department, Puyol joined Zubizarreta out on the training field, where they watched Luis Enrique and his players preparing Wednesday's Champions League opener against Apoel.
