Aston Villa are prepared to sell Carles Gil this summer according to reports.

Tim Sherwood is looking to get rid of a number of players in order to freshen his squad in the next transfer window and according to the Daily Mail, Spanish midfielder Gil is expected to get the chop.

The 22-year old joined Villa from Valencia for £3.25million in January but made just two appearances under Sherwood and is now likely to be offloaded.
