Marek Hamsik has assured Napoli fans he won't quit after suffering a carjacking in town.

The midfielder was robbed at gunpoint as he sat in his car in the Fuorigrotta area of the city, near the Stadio San Paolo.

He had his passport, credit cards, house keys, cash and a Rolex watch stolen in the attack, but has not lost his sense of humour.

"Can anyone tell me the time?" he joked when fans asked if he was alright following a training session.

"Don't worry, I am not leaving Napoli."
