John Carew reckons Stoke City will shock Europe next season.
Carew has yet to sort out his future this summer when his Aston Villa contract ends - he's currently officially on loan from them.
But he reckons that with or without him manager Tony Pulis and his side could make a splash in next season's Europa League, if they qualify.
He said: "Teams from abroad are going to find us a nightmare!
"When I was at Villa there were two or three places you didn't look forward to going, and the Britannia Stadium was one. The fans were intimidating, the pitch was narrow, always windy.
"But now I'm here, everything is like it should be!
"And what works in the Premier League will always work in Europe."
