Bournemouth caretaker manager Paul Groves has been named as the front-runner to take on the job permanently. The Cherries have lost just two games in seven with Groves in charge, leading chairman Eddie Mitchell to state him as his preferred choice to replace Lee Bradbury.
"We came in and the remit was to take the team until the end of the season, that's what we've done and we will continue to take the team on a game-to-game basis." "I think it's very complimentary from the chairman to come out and make that statement," Groves told the Grimsby Telegraph.
