Cardiff winger Ledley determined to show Premiership clubs what he can do

Cardiff City winger Joe Ledley is determined to put himself in the Premiership shop window today against Arsenal.

The Bluebirds and Wales stalwart is planning to upstage his close friend Aaron Ramsey, who joined the Gunners last year in a £5million deal.

Ledley said: "Aaron is a great player - I'm not surprised he went to Arsenal. He's good on the ball, he can use both feet and he can pick out a pass.

"We did play against each other in training when he was at Cardiff so coming up against him won't feel strange. It will be good to see him back at Ninian Park but we need to make sure he ends up on the losing side.

"I'm not worrying about what Aaron can do. I'm just focussing on my own game and on helping Cardiff win.

"They're one of the best passing sides around but we've got a good midfield at Cardiff and we should be strong enough to deal with what they've got.

"It would be brilliant to score the winner against Arsenal. That would mean a lot to me. I like scoring goals and I've been hitting a few in recently so you never know!"
