Cardiff to welcome back winger Noone

Cardiff City are set to welcome back Craig Noone into the senior fray.

The 26-year old winger has been sidelined since early on in pre-season because of a groin injury but got through a half for Cardiff's U21s meaning he is closing in on a first team return.

After contributing to the Bluebirds development side's 2-1 win over Birmingham City on Tuesday afternoon, Noone tweeted:

Noone, who joined Cardiff from Brighton & Hove Albion in the summer of 2012, should now be available for selection for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first team who take on Norwich City at the Cardiff City Stadium this weekend.
