Cardiff City want their defeat to Crystal Palace to be overturned by Premier League authorities.
The Daily Mail says Cardiff claim their 3-0 defeat against Crystal Palace should not be allowed to stand because of the London's club's alleged role in the 'spygate' scandal.
Cardiff have made a formal complaint to the Premier League over the issue, in which they have accused Palace director of football Iain Moody of contacting at least three members of their staff ahead of their fixture earlier this month.
The BBC report that the complaint runs to five pages.
Cardiff believe the saga goes against the Premier League's rules on "good faith".
Rule B15 states: "In all matters and transactions relating to the league each club shall behave towards each other club and the league with the utmost good faith."
