Cardiff City remain determined to prise Russell Slade away from Leyton Orient.
The Daily Mail says the Championship club want Leyton Orient boss Slade as manager with Glenn Roeder as technical director.
Slade is the favourite to take over at the Bluebirds after the club parted company with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last week.
The Orient boss was looking like being sacked a few weeks ago by the club's chairman Francesco Becchetti but he has since rejected an approach from Cardiff to talk to the former Yeovil boss.
