Cardiff City hope to tempt Ole Gunnar Solskjaer away from his Molde job with a bumper transfer kitty.
The Western Mail says they will hand Solskjaer at least £15m to spend in the January transfer window if he accepts the invitation to succeed Malky Mackay.
The Manchester United legend is the No.1 choice to replace Mackay, whose two-and-a-half year reign ended yesterday when he was sacked by Bluebirds owner Vincent Tan.
Club chairman Mehmet Dalman has been given the go-ahead by Tan to find Mackay's successor and it is understood that the former striker is the man top of his list.
