Denis Cheryshev says he'd like to start the season with Real Madrid.

The Russian winger penned new terms with Real last week, but is a loan target for Cardiff City.

"I don't want to think about the future, right now it's time to enjoy the tour. I'm happy and I'm going to fight to the end to be able to stay," he said.

"The manager is giving the younger players a lot of opportunities. It's a big step that the club has taken. There are lots of quality players in the academy."
