Cardiff City striker Michael Chopra is determined to have a big game against former club Newcastle United today.
He said: "Five years ago when I was there it was in a state. Players did what they wanted and it got worse and worse. We had three bosses in three years and even more since I left - you can't keep running a club like that.
"They've had a good start this season but it won't surprise me if they went into administration the way they're going.
"It's a hard division to get out and it happened to Leeds."
Chopra added: "It's a match I have been waiting for since the fixtures came out. I never felt I got a chance when I was at Newcastle. I was fourth or fifth choice.
"I started to think I'd never get the chance because I was the local boy while all the other strikers cost a lot of money. I decided to get out before I destroyed my career.
"You always relish playing against your old club. They have got some good players but with the quality we've got we can beat them."
