Cardiff City have struck personal terms with Blackpool winger Thomas Ince.

The Daily Mail says Cardiff have moved a step closer to signing Ince from Blackpool after agreeing personal terms of £35,000-a-week with the England U21 winger.

The Premier League newcomers have already had a bid of £8million plus add-ons accepted and now hope there will be no late hitches with the deal.

Welsh rivals Swansea have yet to follow up their interest while Liverpool have shown no inclination to match the offer for Ince, as they are entitled to do under the terms of his £500,000 move to Blackpool from Anfield two years ago.
