Cardiff City attacking midfielder Kim Bo-kyung has his sights set on becoming Asia's best player in Europe.
The 23-year old South Korea international is beginning to impress in the Championship with the Bluebirds but getting a regular game under Malky Mackay is not enough as he looks to surpass the likes of new star Shinji Kagawa and seasoned veteran Park Ji-sung as the best footballer from Asia.
"My first ambition is to play for Cardiff in the Premier League and that is the focus for every player," said Kim.
"But if I look further forward my personal ambition would be to become the best Asian player in European football. That's a long way off and I understand that, but I would love to achieve that with Cardiff.
"First, though, we have to stay focused on promotion. We are top of the Championship and our team will be going from strength to strength. We are all working hard to make sure we progress and improve as a group."
