The 26-year old Scottish winger suffered ankle ligament damage in a poor challenge from Jonathan Hogg against Watford on Monday and will now the promotion-chasing Bluebirds will be without him for the remainder of the campaign and potentially a lot longer.

"Craig has suffered torn ankle ligaments and as such is expected to be out for three months," read a statement on the club's official website.
