Steven Caulker has been ruled out of England's World Cup qualifier with Moldova on Friday night.
The Cardiff City defender picked up a knock during Three Lions training and is unavailable for the Wembley clash but is expected to be right if called on for Tuesday's meeting with Ukraine in Kiev.
"Steven unfortunately turned his ankle in training. It's not a very serious matter but it will keep him out of the game tomorrow night. It won't keep him out of the Ukraine game," said manager Roy Hodgson.
"He's expecting to do some running tomorrow evening after the game with the players who don't play but he won't be on the bench tomorrow."
