Cardiff City boss Dave Jones revealed he has held talks with Dato Chan Tien Ghee over a possible takeover of the club after Cardiff's 3-1 win over Watford. Jones spoke with the Malaysian tycoon on Saturday over potential investment in the Bluebirds, who face a High Court date with Her Majesty's Revenues and Customs in May over an unpaid tax bill.

"I was with TG yesterday," said the Cardiff boss after Sunday's home win.

"I had a couple of hours with him at the training ground and had a cup of tea with him in the evening as the rugby was on and I am not a connoisseur of rugby.

"I also spoke to the chairman today and hopefully something will be found and if it is it will be great for everyone and we can relax a bit."
