Cardiff boss Malky Mackay has confirmed that the Championship leaders have made an undisclosed bid for Sunderland striker Fraizer Campbell. The 25-year-old looked likely to join Hull, where he previously spent time on loan from Manchester United, but could now be set for south Wales.
"We are interested in the player," said Mackay. "We are in discussion with Sunderland. They have put a price in the player and it is something we have to discuss with the club."
