Cardiff return on for Derby's Earnshaw

Cardiff City wants to bring Derby County striker Robert Earnshaw back to the club.

The Mirror says the hitman is still idolised at Championship strugglers Cardiff after scoring 105 goals in 205 games for his local club before leaving for West Brom in August 2004.

And the Bluebirds' hierarchy have discussed luring Earnshaw back as their expensively-assembled forward duo of Robbie Fowler and Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink have just 10 goals between them.
