Cardiff are moving for Bolton Wanderers striker Heidur Helguson.

The People says Cardiff boss Dave Jones is trying to sign Helguson from Bolton - and wants to do a loan deal for the £1.5m-rated striker.

Jones has had knockbacks in moves for several Premier League hit-men but is optimistic that Bolton will let the big Icelander go before the start of the Championship campaign.
