Hull City are planning a move for Cardiff City midfielder Peter Whittingham.

Having lost Stephen Quinn to Reading and with Jake Livermore currently suspended following his failed drugs test, Hull are in desperate need to reinforce their midfield this summer.

Manager Steve Bruce has been scouring the market and now according to the Hull Daily Mail, is eyeing a move for Cardiff star Whittingham.

Whittingham is a veteran of over 300 appearances for Cardiff and his know-how in the Championship would be a great advantage for the Tigers.
