Cardiff City midfielder Gary Medel admits he's counting down the weeks ahead of facing Manchester United.

The Bluebirds meet Tottenham this weekend.

"Manchester United will be one of our hardest matches this season," Medel told the Western Mail.

"They were champions last season and are among the favourites for the title again.

"For me the best player in the World is Cristiano Ronaldo and I watched United a lot when he was there.

"The focus for Cardiff right at this moment, of course, is only on Spurs. We have started the season reasonably well and want to keep that going on Sunday."
