Cardiff lead race for Bournemouth striker Lewis Grabban

Cardiff City are chasing Bournemouth striker Lewis Grabban.

The Daily Mail says Bournemouth want to sell the 29-year-old and have recalled him from his loan spell at Sunderland where he scored 12 goals in 20 games.

Fulham, Wolves and Aston Villa have all asked to sign Grabban, while Cardiff would like a loan deal with a view to making the deal permanent in the summer.

Manager Neil Warnock is keen to recruit a new striker.

He tried for West Ham's Diafra Sakho but was put off by their £15 million asking price.
