Manchester United and Arsenal target Adam Matthews isn't ready to skip out on Cardiff City.

Cash-strapped Cardiff could offload the Welsh starlet in the January transfer window if the price is right.

But Matthews says: "It's nice to be noticed but I try and forget about all the talk linking me with United and Arsenal.

"I do think about playing in the Premier League - every footballer does. But right now I'm keeping my feet on the ground and just concentrating on doing well for Cardiff. I'm enjoying my football and I'd like to stay at Cardiff for as long as possible.

"Joe (Ledley) has been in the same situation as the one I'm in now. I speak to him quite a lot and he's told me not to get ahead of myself and just concentrate on my football."
