Cardiff City are already in talks about a first Premier League signing.

Hamburger Abendblatt says Hamburg SV attacker Sven Schipplock is in contact with Cardiff City.

Schipplock comes off contract next month and is ready to join the Premier League new boys.

The 29 year-old joined HSV two years ago from Hoffenheim and has been a first-choice this season.

However, Schipplock is eager to make the move to Wales for a chance to experience the Premier League next term.
