Cardiff City midfielder Aron Gunnarsson believes Iceland can upset the odds against World Cup playoff opponents Croatia.
Iceland's captain will lead his national team out against Croatia in Reykjavic on Friday - and again in Zagreb in the second leg next Tuesday.
Gunnarsson told the Western Mail: "These two matches against Croatia are something different for Iceland because we've never got into the play-offs and never been close enough to brag about it.
"Iceland is a small country and progressing that far in this competition is brilliant.
"If we get into the World Cup I think that will be the best thing ever.
"We're a young team, we are hungry and hopefully we'll take that to the game even though we know Croatia have the experience of getting to the World Cup before.
"All the pressure is on them and we've just got to go there and enjoy it.
"We are really proud of where we come from and doing well for the country is something we've always wanted to do."
