Cardiff given 28 days to reach agreement with HMRC

Cardiff City have had their winding-up order over an unpaid tax bill to HM Revenue and Customs adjourned for 28 days. The Championship hopefuls were at the High Court on Wednesday morning to face their second winding-up order over reported debts of £2.7million.

The Welsh side could face administration and a 10-point deduction should the winding-up order be made next month if they fail to pay off the debt within the 28-day deadline.
