Cardiff in discussions for former Rangers hitman Miller

Cardiff boss Malky Mackay has confirmed that an offer been agreed with Turkish outfit Bursaspor for former Rangers and Celtic striker Kenny Miller. Their reported £800,000 bid has been accepted by the Turkish side and the Bluebirds are now discussing personal terms with the 31 year old Scotland international.

"We've been in talks with Miller," Mackay said. "Bursaspor have accepted a bid and we're trying to get it done.

"I've explained my thoughts on Cardiff and what we can offer him. "He's a top footballer and getting better and better."

Rangers look set to end their pursuit of Miller, who scored 21 goals for the Scottish champions last season before his January move to Turkey, where he has failed to settle.

Mackay added: "I can only control what I can control and that's my club. If other clubs make bids, that's up to them."
