Cardiff City have made an improved contract offer to released Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler.

The 32-year-old has rejected the chance to move to Australia, as well as Leicester and Hull, but held talks with Ridsdale yesterday and is expected finally to agree a deal worth around £12,000 a week.
