Cardiff City chairman Peter Ridsdale has revealed they're planning contract talks with winger Joe Ledley.

The Wales international, whose contract expires in the summer of 2010, has become a firm target for several Premier League clubs with Everton reportedly prepared to put in a January bid for his services, just five months after Stoke had a £6million bid rejected.

"I spoke to Joe briefly a few weeks ago about a new contract," revealed Ridsdale in the South Wales Echo. "I talked to his agent on Saturday and now we need to sit down and decide what is going to happen."
