Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan says he will spend £25million on the club after they gained promotion to the Premier League.
The Bluebirds have become the second Welsh side behind Swansea City to enter England's Premier League after a 0-0 draw with Charlton Athletic on Tuesday night gave them a guaranteed top-two finish in the Championship.
Malaysian businessman Tan is now all for the challenge of spending smartly to achieve success against the big boys of English football.
"We need to strategise well and we'd like to spend some money - maybe 20 to 25 million," said Tan.
"Others have spent a big amount of money and don't do well, so we will try to spend smartly."
Malky Mackay-managed Cardiff can secure the Championship title if they beat Burnley at Turf Moor this weekend.
