Reading pair Hal Robson-Kanu and Alex Pearce could be offered an immediate return to the Premier League.

With the Royals all but down, Robson-Kanu and Pearce are on the shopping list of newly-promoted Cardiff City, says the Telegraph.

Robson-Kanu, who is also being tracked by Swansea, said: "I know I've got the quality for the Premier League. I've proved that at international level as well as in the Premier League.

"It's flattering being linked to teams like Cardiff, especially being Welsh. However, at this moment in time, I'm a Reading player."

Pearce is out of contract this summer, having been unable to agree a new deal with Reading, and has also been linked with Liverpool.
