Cardiff City chairman Peter Ridsdale has revealed they've tried to prise James Collins away from West Ham.
"We did enquire about James three weeks ago regarding the possibility of bringing him in on loan," he said. "But West Ham told us there was not a cat in hell's chance of doing it."
