Cardiff City chairman Peter Ridsdale has warned Blackburn Rovers off his manager Dave Jones.

"John Williams can save the cost of a phone call to me. Dave Jones is going nowhere," Ridsdale told Sky Sports News.

"I know John very well and he hasn't been in touch so there's been no approach for Dave.

"I would not give permission for Williams to talk to him about the Blackburn vacancy."
