Cardiff City chairman Peter Ridsdale would prefer to sell Aaron Ramsey to Manchester United.

Arsenal and Everton have both matched Sir Alex Ferguson's £5m bid and all three clubs are currently holding talks with Ramsey and his representatives.

"We would prefer it if Aaron signed for Manchester United, to be honest," Ridsdale told the South Wales Echo. "The simple reason being that, from our perspective, we want him to come back to Cardiff next season.

"I am sure that is something which all our supporters will be hoping for as well."
