Cardiff City boss Dave Jones is delighted with their capture of Sunderland striker Michael Chopra.

Jones told Cardiff's official website: "It's fantastic business for the club. To be in a position to buy Chops on a permanent basis shows how far this club has come.

"It once again shows we have been diligent in our approach and have come out of the transfer window stronger. With the signings of Chris (Burke), Quincy and now Chops we have plenty of options for our final push."
