Cardiff City are on the brink of landing Toulouse midfielder Etienne Capoue.

The Sun says Cardiff have agreed a £9.6million fee with Toulouse for the 25-year-old midfielder, who has been capped five times by France.

It will eclipse the £7.5m they paid for Danish striker Andreas Cornelius.

Boss Malky Mackay said: "It's pretty delicate but we are in negotiations."
