Cardiff boss Warnock: Premier League will be different this time

Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock is relishing his return to the Premier League after finishing second in the championship.

Warnock is no stranger to the Premier League. The previous three times he made it to England's top league, he was sacked at Crystal Palace, Sheffield United and QPR.

But he believes it will be different on this occasion.

Speaking to talkSPORT, he said: "All the times I have been in the Premier League prior, I felt a bit let down by the chairmen if I'm honest.

"With this one, I have no excuse - he is brilliant Mehmet Dalman. He is working under Vincent Tan and I know I am going to get the support I want.

"They know I am not going to spend stupid money.

"In the past I have never been in the bottom three and I have still lost my job!

"We will have a good do. We have got to enjoy it.

"None of the fans thought we would be here so let's make sure we enjoy it."
