Cardiff City boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits Sir Alex Ferguson has been in touch.
The former Manchester United manager remains in regular contact with his former striker.
Solskjaer' told WalesOnline: "The gaffer (Sir Alex) rang me a couple of weeks ago and asked how things were going.
"I said I had not lost a minutes sleep, but I have to admit there have been a couple of bad nights this week.
