Cardiff City boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could make it a Manchester United triple swoop today.
Solskjaer has wrapped up deals for United pair Wilfried Zaha and Fabio - and now he's keen on Kiko Macheda.
The Daily Mail says the two clubs are understood to be in discussions over Macheda, 22, although it remains uncertain whether a deal will go through before tonight's deadline.
The Italian is off contract in June and his agent has complained this month that United are insisting on a fee if he is to leave.
Macheda would arrive as a replacement for Andreas Cornelius, who is finalising a return to FC Copenhagen this afternoon.
