Cardiff City boss Malky Mackay is looking forward to their Premier League home debut against Manchester City.
Mackay insists they can compete at this level.
The Bluebirds boss said: "It doesn't get much bigger than playing at home against one of the biggest teams in the country.
"It is a hugely important day for the club after all its ups and downs.
"It will be a good day for a lot of people but we have to make sure we perform.
"We have no doubts about how tough the task ahead is, but my players are relishing it and so am I."
