Cardiff City boss Malky Mackay is being linked with Norwich City.
The Daily Star Sunday says Delia Smith would be keen to take Mackay to Norwich - if Chris Hughton can't turn the struggling Canaries' fortunes around.
Norwich's joint majority shareholder is said to be one of a group of senior board members who admire former Carrow Road defender Mackay.
City are third from bottom of the Premier League and a source said: "Chris Hughton is enormously respected at the club and at the moment it is still his job.
"But things can move quickly in football and there might be a move for change should results continue to suffer."
