Cardiff City boss Malky Mackay is delighted with the early impact of new fullback Kevin Theophile-Catherine.

The former Rennes defender arrived on transfer deadline day.

"Theophile-Catherine at right-back is an outstanding piece of business. He's come in with minimum fuss and maximum energy.

"He looks as if he's been playing at right-back for us for years," said Mackay.
