Cardiff boss Jones blasts Hull over McCormack bid

Cardiff City boss Dave Jones has blasted Hull over their public pursuit of striker Ross McCormack.

Jones said: "We've turned Hull's bid down because it was not acceptable.

"We didn't think it was the right offer for the valuation of the player.

"We feel it's a lot higher and we won't budge on that.

"Our valuation is the going rate for someone who is a top striker and has already played international football.

"He's our player and Phil Brown has to realise that. If he's not happy, he should go elsewhere and pay for it.

"We haven't changed our stance and if he doesn't agree with it, then so be it. But it's not the right way to go about it. Hull have plastered it all over the papers and we wouldn't do that."
