Cardiff City boss Dave Jones is being discussed at West Ham United.
The Sunday Mirror says Jones is top of West Ham's shortlist to replace Avram Grant, according to reports.
The Hammers are considering a successor to the Israeli despite Saturday's morale-boosting win against Wigan.
And Jones, who co-owner David Sullivan greatly admires, is on their list along with former England boss Glenn Hoddle.
But QPR chief Neil Warnock is now a non-starter after their arrival of Wally Downes, with whom he has a long-running feud, as Grant's new assistant.
