Cardiff boss admits Blackburn, Everton target Ledley could be sold

Cardiff City boss Dave Jones admits they may be forced to sell their top youngsters in the summer.

Joe Ledley is being followed by several Premiership clubs, including Blackburn Rovers and Everton.

"Darcy has come in and took his opportunity and there is Joe Ledley too. We have young boys training with us day-in and day-out, so we can develop them," Jones told the Western Mail.

"It is good. You need foundations at your football club to be able to do that, and, hopefully, with what has been going on, those foundations are on solid rather than sandy ground.

"But we are still a club which, if someone comes in like they did with Chris Gunter, the price is right and it is the right club then it is always hard to keep hold of your youngsters. The best way if you want to keep them is to get into the division which is taking them away from you, and we are trying hard to do that."
