Cardiff attempt to secure Man Utd, Arsenal target Matthews to new deal

Cardiff City have opened talks with teenage defender Adam Matthews.

Manchester United and Arsenal have been confirmed by Cardiff chairman Peter Ridsdale as being interested in the youngster.

Cardiff want to tie down the £4million-rated left back, 18 this week, with a new double-your-money deal, says the Daily Mail.
