Card-waving antics 'unacceptable' says Stoke's Pulis

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis feels that card-waving incidents involving managers needs to be outlawed.

Recently we have seen Manchester City's Roberto Mancini gesture to the referee to produce a card when an opposition player has fouled or committed handball against his side and Pulis believes there is no place in the English game for this type of behavior.

"It's something that's come into the game that should be stopped, and the sooner the FA do that the better," he said.

"Sadly, it's the way it's gone, and for me it's unacceptable.

"Let the referee officiate and decide whether it's a yellow, red card or a fair challenge, and the rest of us get on with it."
