Caravella hoping Gold Coast stays afloat

Zenon Caravella is hoping that the rumours surrounding Gold Coast United falling over as a club is merely speculation.

The 27-year old midfielder admits the situation concerning the club, namely that owner Clive Palmer had reportedly pulled his investment, is a worrying one but is full of hope that things are rectified and the players can get on with life knowing they are sorted as Gold Coast players.

Caravella briefly spoke to tribalfootball.com about the current plight of United.

"I'm not too sure exactly what is going on but I know that I want the club to continue on," he said.

"It's tough because I sort of want to think about the future but it is such an uncertain time. All I know I just want to continue playing for Gold Coast but if I have to move then so be it."
