Caracas striker Emilio Renteria is set to join MLS club Columbus Crew.

The Venezuelan goal scorer had been linked with a move away from Caracas for several weeks with offers from Portugal and Chile but he decided on the US.

The deal has not yet been finalised, with Renteria awaiting confirmation from his agent.

"I am waiting for my agent to confirm it. I look for a call," he said.
